Siglap and Paya Lebar Schools Graffiti Workshop

About This Project

Something I enjoyed doing in summer 2014 was a graffiti workshop I did for 20 students from Siglap and Paya Lebar Schools from Singapore, who came to London for a school trip. It was a great day painting with the students, we had loads of fun!

The workshop started with an introduction of the history of Graffiti, I tried to explain to the students how modern Graffiti started and how everything has changed since then for some Graffiti Artists, I was lucky I had the help of my friend Esther from the Fun Factory who knows quite a lot about the history of graffiti. After the introduction we started with the paintings, I managed to get everyone to paint with the spray cans, I know is difficult to take a spray can for the first time, so I taught them the secrets to get a good technique when painting with spray cans. The final work was great! All done by the students themselves with a little bit of my help.
